How many dinosaurs fossils have been found?

How many dinosaurs fossils have been found? Consider a portion that is found as a count of one as well.

I’m not looking for the number of species.
Or put it this way, if all the fossils found were put into one museum, how many exhibits would there be?

I’m not sure that anyone would have an exact number, but surely it would be in the thousands, if not tens of thousands.

Well, I don’t think anyone knows that. The answer would be in the hundreds of thousands or more. In some areas dinosaur fossils are not that rare. I have gone with my college to digs in utah twice so far and where we go you can find bones just sitting on the surface. Granted they are almost all fragments of larger bones, but most you can tell what type of bone they are from, and sometimes even the genus. Then when you dig in areas you can find intact bones, and sometimes articulate skeletons (fully articulated skeletons are very rare though). Our college has been has been spending about 1 week per year for about.. 20 years at one spot and found around 1500 bones just there. Not counting the other dig sites in the area they have worked on at one time or another. So counting the numerous dig sites around the world dug throughout the past 150 years you can see that there are huge numbers of bones in repositories around the world. There are famous dig sites in china, mongolia, africa, south america, mexico, western united states, england, australia, and there have even been dinosaur fossils found in antarctica.
